Throughout nearly 35 years of operation, InterCom has continuously strived for quality, modernity, and excitement in all our endeavors. We have managed iconic international franchises such as the Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings series, along with both live-action and animated Spider-Man productions. Our decades-long partnerships with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Warner Bros—whose films InterCom exclusively distributes in Hungary—have been essential to our ongoing success.
Alongside our international achievements, numerous Hungarian productions have entrusted us with their distribution, which we have rewarded through pioneering marketing, PR, and sales strategies. Our early success with the 1997 hit comedy “Out of Order” (“A miniszter félrelép”) remains a highlight, as does our work with Academy Award winner István Szabó’s five directorial projects, Academy Award nominated Lajos Koltai’s “Fateless” (“Sorstalanság”), the memorable “Children of Glory” (“Szabadság, szerelem”), the exceptional “Semmelweis,” and the record-breaking romantic musical comedy “How Could I Live Without You?” (“Hogyan tudnék élni nélküled?”), which drew over one million cinema-goers.
